Usually, the eBook author/maker will disable the ‘Copy’ feature to protect the copyright.
Selecting text and then pressing <Ctrl+C> or right-clicking is not effect.
Today I want to quote some text in an eBook, manual inputting is too cumbersome, so I began to research how to get them just by copying.
First, I did not consider using a software to crack the eBook, because there are too many eBook making software, I think there is not a software can crack the eBooks that made by various eBook maker; even if there is such a universal software, I should pay money for this software, it is just a occasional requirement, to buy such a software is very wasted.
In fact, this research is very short due to I have used Windows for 15 years, and the drag-and-drop operation already became my habit. It really worked by drag-and-drop the selecting text (a Windows skill only need to reach here).
The detailed operation as below:
1. Run Microsoft Word program (or other formatted-text supportable text editors/word processers) and create a new document.
2. Open your exe format eBook, select the content that you want to copy by mouse (the selected text will appear on a blue background).
3. Click the selected text and hold down mouse left button, and then drag it into Word document. At this time, the mouse pointer will become to unallowable, do not be misled, just continue to drag it!
4. After moved the pointer into Word document, just release mouse left button. Yes! You got the selected content already! You’re done!
Note: the method can not copy the pictures in the exe eBook. But copying pictures is so easy, do you have screen capture tool? if not, can you see the <PrintScreen> or <PrtScn> key? just press it, open MSpaint and then press <Ctrl+V> to get it.
Besides: Maybe you can not open exe eBooks on Windows 7 or Vista, about this question, please refer to my another article: How to open exe e-book in Windows 7 or Vista?
